The Wildlife Resources Division of the DENR-Biodiversity Management Bureau conducts an Advanced Training on Wildlife Law Enforcement on November 20-24, 2023 at MetroCentre Hotel and Convention Center in Tagbilaran City, Bohol.

Present are more than fifty (50) participants from national and regional law enforcement government agencies, which include representatives from the Enforcement Divisions of DENR Regional Offices, DENR-Environmental Law Enforcement and Protection Services (ELEPS), Bureau of Customs (BOC), Philippine National Police-Maritime Group (PNP-MG), Philippine Ports Authority Davao, Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), Department of Justice-National Prosecution Service (DOJ-NPS) and Local Government Unit of Tagbilaran City.

The Advanced Training on Wildlife Law Enforcement primarily aims to equip DENR law enforcers and partners from other law enforcement agencies on technological tools on wildlife crime detection and investigation, as well as updated rules and procedures in handling environmental crimes, to further strengthen institutional enforcement capacity in combatting wildlife crimes in the country.
