The Biodiversity Management Bureau (BMB) through the Biodiversity Policy and Knowledge Management Division conducted a training on ArcGIS Survey 123 participated by technical staff from the different divisions and focal persons of the Bureau’s Client Satisfaction Survey.

The objective of the training was to capacitate the participants in using Survey123, a powerful tool for creating, sharing and analyzing surveys. With the conduct of regular data gathering playing important role to support the Bureau’s policy formulation function, the training provided the basic knowledge and skills in creating and publishing survey forms and analysis of the gathered information.

One of the practical application of the training is in the regular conduct of BMB’s Client Satisfaction Survey (CSS) that uses online forms. CSS aims to generate verifiable and tangible evidence in order to determine the effectiveness of implemented processes through identified indicators or service dimensions. Thru the regular monitoring and measurement of it’s clients satisfaction, BMB’s takes appropriate actions to ensure that needs are addressed and expectation are met as part of streamlining efforts and compliance to the Bureau’s Quality Management System (QMS) and Citizen Charter.

A total of 34 participants from BMB attended the 4 days training with Technical staff from the DENR-Statistics and Data Resources Management Division (SDRMD) acting as resource persons.
