BMB celebrates National Women’s Month
The Biodiversity Management Bureau promoted the importance of wellness and healthy living of its employees a part of the National Women’s Month celebration through a fun walk and Zumba exercise last March 30, 2016 inside the Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center. The annual event was organized by BMB-GAD, headed by Ms. Christy Fider, to give appreciation to all the women and to further promote gender equality. Ms. Meriden Maranan, Chief of National Parks Division, delivered the welcome remarks and emphasized the dominance in number of the women in the bureau. She also talked about the importance of women in the organization and how effective they were in their respective work assignments.
The event ended happily as everyone participated in the Zumba exercises led by Ms. Charito Delos Reyes and Mr. Danny Malvar.
